Without an appointment for two months, Vini Jr. sends a message to Real fans on social networks: "Everything passes"

Published: 10/21/2026, 22:05

Vini Jr. no longer hides his frustration with the bad phase at Real Madrid . On Wednesday, at 4-1 on RB Leipzig, for the UEFA Champions League, he was again replaced in the middle of the second half by coach José Mourinho and reached nine games without scoring for the Spanish club.

After the match, the Brazilian used social media to leave a message of hope in his recovery.

- Living every moment. Everything passes 😉 - wrote the attacker.

Vini Jr.'s last goal for Real Madrid was scored on August 26, in the 4-1 win over Real Sociedad, in the Spanish Championship. In that match, he also provided an assist, but even this characteristic is in decline: since then, the number 7 has only given two more passes to his teammates' goals, the last on September 12th.

Coach José Mourinho has tried to maintain confidence in the Brazilian, with repeated praise in interviews before and after Real matches. Even so, Vini Jr has been constantly replaced. He left the last four games in which he started midway through the second half.

Against Villarreal, Vini Jr. started on the bench, came on at the beginning of the second half, scored, but VAR showed that he pulled an opponent's hair at the beginning of the play. In addition to having the goal disallowed, the number 7 was sent off, just 20 minutes after entering the field. Because of the expulsion, Vini Jr. received a four-game suspension in the Spanish Championship.

This Wednesday, Vini was the first Real player substituted, in the 25th minute of the second half, when Real was winning 2-0. After the match, Mourinho once again said that he maintains his confidence in the Brazilian.

- Only he can say if he is sad, but his coach is happy with him - said Mourinho, according to the Spanish press.

His attacking colleague, Kylian Mbappé, also had words of encouragement for the Brazilian.

- If he's sad, it's because he wants to give a lot to the team and the fans. You have to be proud of what he is, a great player. He has quality and needs to be calm – said the Frenchman.
