Vincent Kompany taken to hospital after collapsing at a Bayern training session

Vincent Kompany, 40, Bayern Munich's coach since May 2024, was taken to hospital on Friday after collapsing while watching the reserve team train, and the club said he will remain under medical care while examinations continue. He had been ill with a virus and missed Tuesday's pre-match media duties before the Arsenal game.
