Sada Cruzeiro and Vôlei Renata lean on Olympic medallists in the Supercopa final
Sada Cruzeiro and Vôlei Renata Campinas meet in the Men's Supercopa final on Friday (23/10) at 21h at the Arena Multiuso in São José, Santa Catarina, with Olympic medallists on both sides. The Minas Gerais club have won seven titles (2015, 2016, 2017, 2021, 2022, 2024 and 2025) and chase an eighth; the Paulistas seek their first.

A Arena Multiuso, em São José (SC), recebe nesta sexta-feira (23/10) a decisão da Supercopa Masculina de Vôlei 2026. Às 21h, Sada Cruzeiro e Vôlei Renata Campinas disputam jogo único que opõe o campeão da Superliga ao ganhador da Copa Brasil.
Os dois lados levam medalhistas olímpicos para a quadra. Pelo time celeste estão Wallace e Lucão; pelo paulista, Bruninho, Éder e Douglas Souza.
Nas duas últimas temporadas, os clubes se encontraram em quatro finais, com duas taças para cada um. O Sada Cruzeiro venceu as Superligas de 2024/25 e 2025/26; o Vôlei Renata ficou com o Sul-Americano de Clubes e com a Copa Brasil de 2026.
Quem comanda o time mineiro, Filipe Ferraz, vê na partida um termômetro para o começo de temporada. “Vai ser um jogo dificílimo. É um torneio que a gente está acostumado a disputar quase todo ano. Serve para dar início à Superliga e saber como o time vai se portar diante de uma grande equipe como o Campinas. Mas acredito muito no potencial do Sada Cruzeiro e estaremos prontos para essa final”, analisou o treinador celeste.
Do outro lado, Horácio Dileo, técnico do Vôlei Renata, também projeta equilíbrio. “É um confronto para ser definido nos detalhes, entre times muito equilibrados. São, em resumo, os dois melhores times da última temporada. Para nós, é uma grande satisfação enfrentar uma equipe do nível do Sada Cruzeiro e ter mais uma oportunidade de disputar um título pelo nosso projeto”, apontou.
O clube mineiro soma sete títulos da Supercopa (2015, 2016 e 2017, além de 2021, 2022, 2024 e 2025), é o maior vencedor do torneio e persegue o octacampeonato. O Vôlei Renata tenta a taça inédita e chega embalado pela conquista do Campeonato Paulista.
Ferraz voltou ao tema da preparação na véspera da final. “Foi uma semana muito produtiva e trabalhada para que a gente possa ir em busca dos nossos objetivos nos próximos torneios. Vejo o grupo um pouco mais leve, mas com a responsabilidade de fazer um bom jogo e buscar o gostinho da vitória. Acho que é por esse caminho que vamos crescer como time”, finalizou.
