Flamengo use 2018 Santos case to try to reach Libertadores final
Flamengo are asking Conmebol to award them a 3-0 win over Estudiantes for the irregular fielding of defender Marcos Rojo in the Libertadores semi-final, citing article 19 of the Disciplinary Code. The club points to the 2018 precedent, when Santos were punished. Flamengo went out on penalties, 3-2, after a 0-0 draw at the Maracanã.
