Novak Djokovic is the fourth seed in Basel, a tournament he won in 2009, and needs points to secure a place at November's ATP Finals; Ben Shelton looms as the big obstacle in the semi-finals, while defending champion João Fonseca has already ended his season and will drop 500 points.
