Osaka admits she has pondered quitting and says she is not far off her best

Naomi Osaka, 29, said she is not far from the level that gave her four Grand Slams between 2018 and 2021 and has pondered retirement, but she is back at No 19 and seeded 7th in Tokyo this week, where she faces Jasmine Paolini in the first round.
