Basel draw hit by withdrawals: four qualifiers and four lucky losers
The ATP 500 in Basel starts on Monday in unusual circumstances: every qualifier who reached Sunday's final made the main draw, four as qualifiers and four as lucky losers. A wave of late withdrawals removed Alejandro Fokina, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexander Bublik, with 2024 champion Givoanni Perricard facing Arthur Fils.

O suíço Remy Bertola pega o canadense Denis Shapovalov; Yannick Hanfmann e Jan-Lenard Struff fazem duelo alemão; Juan Cerundolo, da Argentina, pega o lucky-loser Daniel Altmaier.
Outro lucky-loser, Aleksandar Kovacevic, encara o favorito Ben Shelton, quarto do mundo.
