Pimblett says Evloev 'quit' against Volkanovski at UFC 333
Paddy Pimblett said Movsar Evloev quit against Alexander Volkanovski rather than being beaten outright at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi. Evloev (20-1) was stopped at 4:54 of the second round; Volkanovski (29-4) kept the belt and has already spoken about wanting another outing.

Evloev (20-1) desafiou Alexander Volkanovski (29-4) na luta principal do UFC 333, no sábado, em Abu Dhabi, e foi interrompido aos 4:54 do segundo round. Pimblett, que assistia, achou que o desafiante teria sobrevivido até o sino se continuasse se movimentando, em vez de se proteger nos segundos finais.
“Para mim o Evloev desistiu ali. Simplesmente se entregou”, disse Pimblett no canal dele no YouTube. “Quando faltam cinco segundos, você tem que continuar se movimentando para a luta seguir. Você não pode começar a se proteger.”
Evloev havia vencido Lerone Murphy, Aljamain Sterling, Arnold Allen e Diego Lopes antes da primeira derrota da carreira. Volkanovski, que manteve o cinturão, já falou publicamente sobre querer outra luta.
