Novorizontino back on top of Série B with 79.54% promotion chance
Novorizontino returned to the top of Série B by beating Atlético-GO 1-0 and now have a 79.54% chance of direct promotion, according to Gato Mestre. They have 64 points, level with Juventude, with three rounds left.

Concluída a 35ª rodada, o Novorizontino voltou ao topo da Série B. O 1 a 0 sobre o Atlético-GO, fora de casa, encerrou um período de sete rodadas longe da primeira colocação e elevou a probabilidade de acesso direto à Série A a 79,54%, segundo levantamento do Gato Mestre com o economista Bruno Imaizumi.
No Estádio Antônio Accioly, o zagueiro Eduardo Brock abriu o placar de falta, aos 15 minutos do segundo tempo. O time de Enderson Moreira chegou a 64 pontos, os mesmos do Juventude, com vantagem no saldo de gols; o clube gaúcho tem 57,05% de chances.
A rodada também ajudou. O Vila Nova perdeu por 3 a 2 para o São Bernardo, caiu para terceiro com 62 pontos e viu suas chances recuarem de 62,58% para 43,02%. Já as do Novorizontino saltaram de 54,21% para 79,54%.
Faltando três rodadas, chegar a 71 pontos é a referência estatística para garantir a vaga sem precisar de outros critérios. No formato atual, os dois primeiros sobem direto, do terceiro ao sexto disputam um playoff por duas vagas e os quatro últimos caem para a Série C.
