O Remo venceu o Botafogo por 2 a 1 nesta quarta-feira, 28, no Mangueirão, e encerrou um jejum de 14 jogos oficiais sem vitória.
O jogo foi válido pela 33ª rodada. O Leão Azul adotou postura reativa e apostou nos contra-ataques. Aos oito minutos, Jajá empurrou para a rede depois de cruzamento de Marcelinho e de falha da zaga. O Botafogo de Tite ficou com 65% da posse, mas criou pouco: aos 29, Arthur Cabral cabeceou no travessão.
No segundo tempo, Leonel Picco acertou um chute no ângulo aos nove minutos. O Botafogo lanãou Tiquinho Soares, Júnior Santos e Edenilson, e descontou aos 38, com Edenilson de cabeça após escanteio de Marçal.
