Ferrero says he was not too strict with Alcaraz

In an interview with El Mundo, Juan Carlos Ferrero said strictness was not the reason his partnership with Carlos Alcaraz ended and denied being excessively demanding on his former pupil, now 23 and a seven-time Grand Slam champion. He also discussed mobile phone use and the split, decided late last year.
