Perugia launch campaign against the new calendar and warn of a seven-week stoppage
Perugia launched a campaign on Thursday (29/10) against the planned changes to the global volleyball calendar for the 2028/2032 cycle over a national-team window in December and January that would force domestic leagues to stop for seven weeks. President Gino Sirci warned of fewer spectators, fewer sponsors and a weakening of the clubs.

Gino Sirci, presidente do clube italiano, apareceu ao lado do levantador Simone Giannelli, do ponteiro Kamil Semeniuk, do ucraniano Oleh Plotnytskyi e do técnico Angelo Lorenzetti.
