Jair's renewal stalls but the midfielder still wants to stay at Vasco

Jair's renewal with Vasco remains without agreement, and the 32-year-old midfielder, with just over two months left on his deal, wants to stay at São Januário. His representatives rejected an offer of one more year with the salary halved, and the player is only expected to discuss concrete offers after the run-in.

O jornal O Globo noticiou a recusa primeiro, e a reportagem confirmou.
