AFA approves end of groups in Argentine league and keeps 30 clubs and play-offs
The AFA approved the end of splitting the 30 clubs into groups in the Argentine league: there are now 30 rounds in a single table, with each side facing the other 29 plus a second derby. Apertura and Clausura remain, each with 16 qualifiers, and only River Plate voted against the plan.
