Vitão discharged after head clash and diagnosed with muscle bruising
Atlético-MG defender Vitão was discharged from Hospital Materdei after his head clash with his own goalkeeper Delfim at the Arena MRV, and the club said the scans ruled out injuries to the cervical spine, face and skull. Cruzeiro won the game 1-0 with a goal from Kaio Jorge.

O zagueiro Vitão, do Atlético-MG, levou a pior na pancada de cabeça contra o próprio goleiro Delfim, no clássico mineiro, e recebeu alta hospitalar com diagnóstico de contusão muscular por trauma.
O lance aconteceu no início do segundo tempo do duelo com o Cruzeiro, nesta quinta-feira (29/10), na Arena MRV. Vitão foi imobilizado ainda no gramado e deixou o campo de ambulância, sendo levado a um hospital para exames.
Nada foi encontrado na coluna cervical, na face ou no crânio, segundo o comunicado do clube. "O zagueiro Vitão está sendo liberado do Hospital Materdei. Os exames realizados descartaram lesões na coluna cervical, na face e no crânio", informou o clube.
A partir desta sexta-feira, ele segue a recuperação na Cidade do Galo.
No jogo, o Cruzeiro venceu por 1 a 0, com gol de Kaio Jorge logo aos três minutos, no início da partida. O clube celeste chegou a 57 pontos e ampliou a vantagem na terceira colocação; o Galo ficou em sétimo, com 50.
