Argentina changes format: 30 clubs, three champions and eight titles a year
The AFA approved on Thursday (29) another overhaul of the Argentine championship: it keeps 30 clubs, drops the two-group split and will have 30 rounds in a single round robin, with Apertura and Clausura playoffs and three main titles a season. River Plate were the only club to vote against.
