Swiatek swaps United Cup for Brisbane in her 2027 preparations

Iga Swiatek will not defend Poland United Cup title in 2027 and will open her season at the Brisbane WTA 500, from 3 to 10 January. Coach Francisco Roig said the decision aims to focus preparation on the Australian Open, the only Grand Slam she has not won.
