Corinthians confirm knee sprain for midfielder Rodrigo Garro
Corinthians confirmed scans showed a strain in the medial collateral ligament of Rodrigo Garro's right knee. The Argentine left the Sao Paulo derby in the first half and has already started his recovery.

Rodrigo Garro entrou para a lista de desfalques do Corinthians. O meio-campista deixou o campo ainda no primeiro tempo do Clássico Majestoso contra o São Paulo, aos 41 minutos, substituído por Vitinho após sentir uma lesão. O clube informou nesta quinta-feira (5/11) que os exames diagnosticaram estiramento no ligamento colateral medial do joelho direito do argentino.
“Nesta quinta-feira (05), o meio-campista Rodrigo Garro foi submetido a uma ressonância magnética após sofrer um trauma seguido de entorse no joelho direito no clássico entre Corinthians e São Paulo, na última quarta (04), na Vila Belmiro. O exame identificou um estiramento no ligamento colateral medial do atleta. O camisa 8 já iniciou a recuperação sob a supervisão do Departamento Médico do Clube”.
A partida na Vila Belmiro, em Santos, terminou sem gols, pela 34ª rodada do Brasileirão.
O time precisa pontuar para sair da zona de rebaixamento. É o 17º, com 37 pontos, um atrás do Internacional, primeira equipe fora do Z4.
O próximo compromisso é Remo x Corinthians, no Mangueirão, em Belém, em 2/12/2026, às 15h, pela 38ª rodada.
