Bournemouth played at home and beat Sunderland 2-0 on Sunday for the seventh round of the Premier League. It was the team's first win in the competition. Brazilian Evanilson scored for the third game in a row and reached 100 goals in his career. He also assisted Marcus Tavernier's goal.

- No words for everything I'm living in these last games. It's great to be able to score again and help the team in another victory. Reaching this 100 goal mark is special to me, and I thank everyone who is with me on this journey. We won a historic victory in the middle of the week and we won again in front of our fans, strengthening our game at home, "said the center forward.
Revealed by Fluminense, Evanilson is 27 years old and left Tricolor for Porto in 2020. The striker arrived at Bournemouth in 2024.
Rayan, a former Vasco, also started Sunday's match. Bournemouth have reached six points and are 15th in the Premier League, leaving the relegation zone.
