Djenyfer Arnold won the Ironman 70.3 of Florianópolis on Sunday morning (18), the race was played in Jurerê Internacional, in the north of the island. The Santa Catarina triathlete is qualified for the world championship in 2027, which will be held in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in the United States.

Djenyfer, who participated in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, finished the race in 4:03:56. Also winner last year in the Floripa stage, São Bentense valued the dispute in Santa Catarina territory.
"Without a doubt, it is different to compete here in Florianópolis, mainly because I lived here for 10 years, so every point that passes ends up knowing where it is. Having the support of the fans and hearing my name all the way makes a difference. It's very good to compete at home,” said the triathlete.
The runner-up was Vittoria Lopes, who won the gold medal at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. The triathlete completed the race in 4:08:18. Finally, Julie Iemmolo from France completed the podium with 4:16:41.
The concentration of professionals in Florianópolis was part of a new circuit strategy in Brazil. While the Santa Catarina stage was dedicated exclusively to women, Ironman 70.3 Sergipe will bring together only male professionals. In 2027, the format will be reversed, ensuring alternation between headquarters.
