Current penta, Franca debuts in NBB 2026/2027 with a quiet victory at home

The debut of the current five-time NBB champion in the 2026/2027 season was with a quiet victory at home. Playing at Pedrocão, Sesi Franca Basquete beat São José-SP 90-59 on Monday night.

The game was marked by the debuts of point guard Vitinho and pivotal winger Bruno Solano at Franca, who still has Gui Deodato to debut, but is still waiting for the documents to be regularized.

Despite the balanced start between the teams, with São José-SP leading the score in the first minutes under Payton and Murilo, Franca soon set the pace and led the game without scares until the end, especially in the second half.
