Diniz's Corinthians termination published in BID; club to pay R$ 4.8 million
Fernando Diniz's termination with Corinthians was published in the CBF's daily bulletin on Friday, and the club will pay R$4.8 million, with R$3.8 million going to the coach.

O Corinthians formalizou nesta sexta-feira, 23, o acordo de rescisão com o técnico Fernando Diniz. A publicação saiu no Boletim Informativo Diário (BID) da CBF,. O pagamento das multas da comissão técnica, que deixou o Parque São Jorge no início do mês, será parcelado em R$ 4,8 milhões.
Desse total, R$ 3,8 milhões vão diretamente para Diniz. O restante da verba cobre as rescisões de três integrantes da comissão técnica: o preparador físico Wagner Bertelli, o analista de desempenho Lucas Vergne e o fisiologista Luiz Fernando Barros.
Com a rescisão formalizada, o treinador pode ser inscrito por qualquer clube do futebol nacional ou internacional.
Diniz chegou em abril com a missão de levar o time à parte decisiva da Copa do Brasil e da Libertadores. Foi eliminado nas duas competições. A permanência dele no cargo ficou insustentável depois de sete derrotas consecutivas no começo do segundo turno do Campeonato Brasileiro.
No comando alvinegro, foram 33 partidas oficiais, com 13 vitórias, oito empates, 12 derrotas e 47,5% de aproveitamento.
Quem dirige o time agora é Clarence Seedorf. O Corinthians tenta se reabilitar no Brasileirão, competição em que ocupa a 16ª colocação.
