Valencia beat Elche 1-0 through Sadiq and end their poor run

Com um gol de Umar Sadiq no segundo tempo, o Valencia bateu o Elche por 1 a 0 neste domingo (1º), no Estádio Manuel Martínez Valero, na 11ª rodada do Espanhol 2026/27, e respirou na parte de baixo da tabela.
O jogo explicou-se pelos números: o Elche teve 69% de posse e 13 finalizações contra cinco, mas acertou o alvo só duas vezes, com duas defesas de Dimitrievski. O Valencia foi reativo e mais perigoso quando chegou — três das cinco tentativas foram na direção de Dituro.
O primeiro tempo terminou sem gols, com Buonanotte entrando na vaga de Lemar aos 24 e amarelos para Valera e Chust, ambos do Elche. Aos 16 da etapa final, Sadiq substituiu Pablo Maffeo e, aos 24, marcou após assistência de Arnaut Danjuma.
Com nove pontos, o Valencia segue 19º, mas põe fim a uma série de dois empates e duas derrotas nas últimas quatro rodadas. O Elche fica com 10 pontos, em 17º, após a primeira derrota nos últimos cinco compromissos. Na próxima rodada, o Valencia recebe o Real Madrid no sábado (7), e o Elche pega o Betis no domingo (8).
