Wolff says a jibe about Maldonado helped him land the Mercedes job

Toto Wolff told how a jibe about Pastor Maldonado helped him land his role at Mercedes, describing it as the moment the parent company came calling. Wolff was a shareholder and executive at Williams in 2012, the year Maldonado took a shock win at the Spanish Grand Prix.
