Qatar row leaves MotoGP riders on one side and everyone else on the other

MotoGP riders' resistance to racing in Qatar collapsed in days: three-quarters of the grid refused Doha at Phillip Island and only three held that line at Sepang after a one-hour meeting at 7pm on Friday. MotoGP 2026 still lists the Qatar Grand Prix, and skipping it could cost the final two rounds in Portugal and Valencia.
