Nyjah Huston captains the United States at the Nations Cup; Rayssa Leal leads Brazil
The first Nations Cup takes place on 12 December in São Paulo, with Nyjah Huston captaining the United States and Rayssa Leal leading Brazil. Each team has four skaters and at least one woman, and the winners take US$100,000.

A primeira edição da Nations Cup está marcada para 12 de dezembro, em São Paulo, e terá Nyjah Huston como capitão dos Estados Unidos. A Street League Skateboarding (SLS) divulgou que Paige Heyn, Julian Agliardi e Braden Hoban completam o time, que encara Brasil, Japão e Mundo.
São quatro times, cada um com quatro skatistas e ao menos uma mulher; a campeã fatura US$ 100 mil. Do lado brasileiro, Rayssa Leal é a capitã e terá Giovanni Vianna, Filipe Mota e Wallace Gabriel ao lado.
Huston tem sete títulos do Super Crown e também 15 ouros em X Games, segundo material da organização, além do bronze no street em Paris 2024.
Paige Heyn foi bronze no Pan de Santiago 2023 e medalhista do Super Crown naquele ano, em São Paulo; em Paris 2024 terminou em sexto lugar na prova feminina. Julian Agliardi foi segundo colocado na etapa de Sydney, em fevereiro de 2026, sua primeira vez no pódio do circuito. Já Braden Hoban ganhou San Diego em 2024 e, em agosto de 2026, o Tempe Takeover, e soma medalhas de street e best trick nos X Games.
Na classificação são quatro rodadas — três só de manobras e uma de voltas. Cada skatista escalado tem três tentativas nas rodadas de manobra; na de voltas são duas descidas de 45 segundos. O total coletivo soma a maior nota feminina e as duas melhores masculinas de atletas diferentes.
As duas melhores equipes chegam à final, com três tentativas de manobra para cada skatista; vale a melhor nota de cada um, e qualquer nota de nove pontos ou mais (o 9 Club) rende um ponto extra.
O Japão escalou Ginwoo Onodera, Liz Akama, Toa Sasaki e Kairi Netsuke. O time Mundo reúne Chloe Covell, Cordano Russell, Gustavo Ribeiro e Vincent Milou.
A Nations Cup acontece no sábado, 12 de dezembro; os campeões individuais da temporada saem no domingo (13), no Super Crown. O Ibirapuera recebe o evento pelo quarto ano seguido, e o Brasil sedia a decisão da liga pela quinta vez consecutiva.
