Mexico City GP track guide: altitude, stadium section and the new modes
The Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez hosts the Mexico City Grand Prix with altitude as the defining challenge: thinner air cuts downforce, cooling and the effort a driver can sustain, so teams run maximum wing despite the long straights. The track opened in 1959 and returned to the calendar in 2015.
